ACTED organisational policies

As a humanitarian NGO, charity ACTED us independent, private and non-profit. ACTED’s representatives and team respect a strict political and religious impartiality, and operates following principles of non-discrimination, transparency, guided by the humanitarian principles of humanity, impartiality, neutrality, independence, according to ACTED core values: responsibility, impact, enterprising-spirit and inspiration.

ACTED Code of Conduct is core to the organization, its team, operations and management. The Code of Conduct provides clear guidance on the standards of behavior and conduct all staff are required to abide by. Those standards are as follows:

  3. I will commit to protect ACTED’s beneficiaries
  4. I will ensure to be attentive to the safety & security of myself & others
  5. I will protect ACTED’s resources and assets

Your personal data

According to the French law N• 78-17 of 6 January 1978 on computing, data and liberties (CNIL), all users who has deposited nominal information either directly or indirectly, may ask for the submission of this nominal information through a request to ACTED Data Protection Officer either by email or in written to ACTED DPO, 33, rue Godot de Mauroy, 75009 Paris, France – and have them edited or suppressed.

When subscribing to our newsletter, via our website, you agree to receive information from ACTED, and to the processing of your personal data needed to this end. You will always be able to unsubscribe from our emailing lists if you wish to do so.

Anyone employed by or working for ACTED shall commit to act according to ACTED’s Code of Conduct, which outlines the expected behavior of ACTED teams.

To ensure that funds are used exclusively for humanitarian purposes and in accordance with donors’ compliance requirements, all job / internship / volunteering offers are subject to the condition that potential staff names do not appear on anti-terrorism lists, in line with ACTED’s anti-terrorism policy.

To this end, your data shall be automatically processed. In this framework, and in accordance with European regulations related to personal data protection, you have the right to access, rectify and erase your personal information. You may exercise your rights by contacting ACTED Data Protection Officer either by email or in written to ACTED DPO, 33, rue Godot de Mauroy, 75009 Paris, France.

Cookie policy
